3 & 5 KG Items are transported via our National air Courier Service and has the same delivery standard. The 3 & 5 KG service is priced on an item rate nationally and can be a cost effective way of shipping small items, including satchels, across Australia. This service only provides for one item per consignment.

There are two charge categories. 3 KG and under and between 3 & 5 KG. Once the charge weight exceeds 5 KG it converts the charge to National air Courier. This will significantly increase the cost of shipping. The confirm page after continuing from the booking form will tell you the charge weight and the cost.

While the National air Courier service is a very reliable service it can be affected by weather. If weather causes delays to aircraft there is usually a backlog of freight and delivery standards are not met. If it is vitally important that a delivery has to be there by a specific time talk to us about other alternatives.

National air Courier has a cubic conversion of 200 kg per cubic metre. Please refer to our “Cube Explained” link on the home page if you require further information on cubing.

IMPORTANT:

For security reasons ID may be required at pick up therefore goods may not be left unattended. A futile pick up fee may apply if this occurs.

Dangerous goods (DGs) of any sort are not allowed on this service. Penalties may apply. If you are not sure if what you are sending may be classified as a dangerous good please contact us.
